Dataset supporting the University of Southampton Doctoral Thesis "Exploring Gender and Class in the Amateur Film Collection of WFSA 1895-1950". This dataset contains collated statistics on the demographic composition of the the amateur collection at WFSA. The data was collected through a range of techniques including collection survey (manually extracted from the catalogue) and has been supplemented with information gathered from documentary sources, depositor questionnaires and interviews.
