The Forest Spatial Morphology Database 1.0 was derived from the UMD Global Land Analysis and Discovery lab's Global Forest Change Database. <br><br>Tree cover from the year 2000 and tree cover loss and gain between 2000 and 2012 were used as inputs to a morphological spatial pattern analysis (MSPA) to create tropical forest fragmentation maps for the years 2000 and 2012 under different scenarios of edge effect, forest threshold, and minimum fragmenting patch size.<br>Layers were clipped to the country boundary of Peru. Refer to the README.txt file for more information.<br><br>
