资源简介:
The Global Atmospheric Measurements Experiment on Tropospheric Aerosols and Gases (GAMETAG) was a 2-year field-sampling program from aircraft primarily over North America and the Pacific Ocean. The GAMETAG program was designed to provide a limited test of chemical models for short-lived photochemical species and also to provide survey data on short-lived and long-lived species over an extended latitude range. Measurements were made both in and above the atmospheric boundary layer from an L-188C turboprop Electra aircraft owned by NCAR. The GAMETAG instruments were designed and operated by numerous university and federal laboratories. Tropospheric species such as carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), nitrous oxide (N2O), CFCs, hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide (CO2), and others as well as meteorological variables (dew point, winds, temperature, UV fluxes, etc) were measured. Data were taken from 8/7/77 - 9/6/78 and from 4/27/78 - 6/1/78. Data were stored in magnetic tape files on IBM 3490 tape cartridges within the NCAR/SCD/Mass Store System. Data from a single flight are contained in from 1 to 4 files, depending upon the flight date.
