Confocal data of Loricera adult, NIGP203254, and Loricera larva, BA202301

This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for the adult holotype of Loricera carsteni (NIGP203880) and the larval Loricera specimen BA202301 from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. This dataset is associated with the publication "Description of adult and larval Loricera from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber (Coleoptera: Carabidae)" (DOI:10.11646/palaeoentomology.7.2.10).

Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm (Argon) or 561 nm (DPSS 561-10) laser excitation line. The original CZI files are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.
