This is a manuscript of an apparently unpublished gazetteer. It comprises five parts: place names having postal communications; mountains, ranges, hills, peaks etc.; rivers and creeks of New South Wales; harbours, lakes, lagoons, swamps, springs etc.; and miscellaneous places.Note: The author and date of this gazetteer was a matter of investigation by councillors of the Geographical Names Board when they were consulted by the Mines Department about its origin. They could not find evidence that it had been published, nor any information about who had compiled it.
