We investigated the anti-hyperuricemia and anti-inflammatory effects and underlying mechanism of anserine in diet induced hyperuricemia mice. The regulation on uric acid metabolism and NLRP3 inflammasome and TLR4 signaling pathways were detected via qRT-PCR. The dependence of hyperuricemia onset and alleviation on gut microbiota were confirmed in antibiotic induced germ-free mice. The modulation of gut microbiota composition and SCFAs production were respectively measured via 16S rRNA sequence and GC-MS. Furthermore, microbiota transplantation experiments indicated that the anti-hyperuricemia and anti-inflammatory effects were mediated via gut microbiota.
