Characteristics, indicators and hospital admissions of the SUS hospital network in 2019

The database was developed by pairing two national public databases made available by the Brazilian Ministry of Health, from the information systems: CNES (National Register of Health Establishments) and SIH (Hospital Information System). The database contains information about Brazilian hospitals, including their basic identification, their characteristics, structure of services, professionals and hospital beds, as well as a set of data that characterize their hospital admissions. This research database contains 64 variables about the 4,449 hospitals that provided services to the SUS in 2019.
