资源简介:
This collection comprises images from a Level 2/3 Descriptive and Analytical Historic Building Recording at Cornwall College (John Keay House) Tregonissey Road, St Austell, Cornwall. The work was carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in August 2024. The Level 2/3 historic building recording at Cornwall College, including the buildings and landscaped grounds, broadly comprises two primary phases of construction undertaken between 1963 and 1971. The assemblage of structures is vast which is attributed to the site's original function as the purpose-built new head office of the English China Clays group of companies. The purpose of the historic building recording was to make a permanent written and illustrated record of the buildings prior to their phased demolition, to make way for a state-of-the-art new college building.
