"With the increasing significance of full-polarimetric radar systems in monitoring space targets, the full-polarimetric inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) data plays an essential role in the research on the polarization field. Thus, we construct a full-polarimetric measurement system operating in the sub-terahertz band, in which three typical satellite models are measured, calibrated, and imaged. The core obstacle of the experiment is the polarization calibration of the time-divided full-polarimetric measurement, due to the echo incoherence among the four polarization channels resulting from the independent measurement. Thus, three extra calibration objects are placed in the measurement system. In the signal process, the polarization calibration algorithm is conducted, and the low-sidelobe imaging method based on the dual-dimension reconstruction (DDR), developed by our team, is utilized."
