microbial diversity across development stages of Zeugodacus tau

Zeugodacus tau is a major insect pest in fruit and vegetable industries, which caused considerable economical losses for years. The bacterial communities play important function in insect physiological processes. Like other insects, Z. tau harbored microorganisms that play vital roles in host development. However, information on bacterial communities across different development stages of Z. tau were lacked. Thus, we utilized high throughput sequencing technology to analyze the component of bacterial communities in different development stages. The data will help to screen key microorganism and served the developent of biological pest control.
