This study investigates the transcriptional consequences of genetic RetSat deletion in thyrocytes. Overall design: Male C57BL/6J mice with floxed RetSat alleles with (Cre+) or without (Cre-) TPO (thyroid peroxide)-Cre were analyzed at an age of 22 weeks. Total RNA from thyroid was isolated and RNA was DNAse digested and profiled by RNAseq.
