Share of children in child labor APAC 2020, by economic sector and subregion

In 2020, the majority of children involved in child labor in the Asia-Pacific region were employed in the agricultural sector. The number of children in child labour in APAC amounted to approximately 48.7 million in 2020, equivalent to a 5.6 percent share of children in the age group. This marked a decrease from around 113.6 million in 2008.

2020年，亚洲-太平洋地区参与童工的儿童中，绝大多数被雇佣于农业领域。在亚太地区，2020年从事童工的儿童数量约为4870万，占该年龄段儿童总数的5.6%。这一数字相较于2008年的约1.136亿有所下降。
