Skin microbiota of an oxazolone-induced contact hypersensitivity mouse model

Study of the skin microbiota of an oxazolone-induced contact hypersensitivity (CHS) model. Mice were sensitised and challenged with oxazolone, and samples were collected 24 h, 7 d, 14 d, and 28 d later. DNA was extracted from mouse ears, and the 16S (V1-V3) rRNA gene was sequenced. CHS is a widely used mouse model and the goal was to examine if CHS could be used for skin microbiota studies.
