Data and scripts for "Climate change erodes physiological variation in a Cerrado lizard despite distribution expansion"

This repository contains the data and scripts accompanying the manuscript: “Climate change erodes physiological variation in a Cerrado lizard despite distribution expansion” The materials support analyses of how spatial variation in thermal physiology influences distribution predictions and climate change vulnerability in the Cerrado lizard Norops brasiliensis. The analyses compare species-level and population-level distribution models, treating physiology as either shared among populations or population-specific. The data include species occurrence records, genetic sampling localities and population assignments, and physiological measurements used to model temperature-dependent locomotor performance. Data are provided in the compressed archive “Data.zip”. The repository also includes R Markdown and Quarto documents containing scripts for data checking and analysis. External environmental datasets, including WorldClim climate layers, should be downloaded separately from their original sources.
