Tpx, like AhpC, is a peroxiredoxin with alkylhydroperoxidase, peroxidase, and peroxynitritase activities. Peroxynitrite is detoxified to nitrite (Jaeger et al. 2006, Rho et al. 2006).
Tpx，类似于AhpC，是一种兼具烷基氢过氧化物酶、过氧化物酶和亚硝基过氧化物酶活性的过氧化物酶。亚硝基过氧化物得以解毒，转化为亚硝酸盐（Jaeger等人，2006年，Rho等人，2006年）。
