Maize leaf palatability to European Corn-borer : Data, statistical analyses and meta-analyses

R scripts and data that allow raw data and metadata processing coorresponding to the BioRxiv preprint (https://doi.org/10.1101/2023.04.12.536551) "Large genetic variability of maize leaf palatability to european corn borer : metabolic insights". The data allow to analyse the feeding behaviour of L2 Corn Borer larvae in a core panel of 18 maize inbred lines chosen for their genetic variability for flowering time and derive a maize leaf palatability index to characterize the maize lines. Results are compared to previously published informations on metabolic activity to seek for correlations between metabolism and leaf palatability.
