资源简介:
European plum (Prunus domestica L.) is a significant commercial crop in Serbia in terms of total fruit production. Little is known about fungal diversity in microbiome of plums generally, especially in terms of metabarcoding approach. This study was investigated the fungal communities associated with leaves and fruits of four local Serbian plum cultivars (Požegača, Ranka, Čačanska lepotica and Čačanska rodna) in two phenological stages during early (May) and late (July) fruit maturation. Knowledge of microbe community assembly living in plum phyllosphere as well as how they change during fruit maturation can help us manage diseases. Since the annual yield of plums in Serbia is strongly affected by Monilinia laxa, causing brown rot in stone fruits, finding new managing practices of this important disease is in the focus.
