Flame-retardant rubber-plastic insulation board is a thermal insulation material primarily made from nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as main raw materials. It features flexibility, weather resistance and excellent thermal insulation performance, and is widely used in building exterior walls, roofs, pipelines and other fields. Comprehensive performance evaluation on flame-retardant rubber-plastic insulation boards with different NBR/PVC ratios and various plasticizer grades can not only help understand the single properties of the material, but also comprehensively evaluate the product reliability of such insulation boards. This work provides performance evaluation data support for downstream enterprises when purchasing flame-retardant rubber-plastic insulation boards, and offers scientific basis for the subsequent selection of raw material suppliers. Data Collection: Collect test data of flame-retardant rubber-plastic insulation boards produced by the company. Data Processing: Remove duplicate, erroneous, incomplete or abnormal data from the collected raw data, organize and analyze the test data, and count the minimum (min) and maximum (max) values of corresponding indicators. Data Calculation: Normalize the test data to facilitate subsequent comparison and analysis. The normalized value of a corresponding indicator is calculated as: Normalized Value = (Test Value - Minimum Value of the Indicator) / (Maximum Value of the Indicator - Minimum Value of the Indicator). After obtaining the normalized values, the comprehensive performance index is calculated as: Comprehensive Performance Index = k1 * Normalized Limiting Oxygen Index Value + k2 * Normalized Smoke Density Value + k3 * Normalized Compression Resilience Value + k4 * Normalized Thermal Conductivity Value, where k1, k2, k3, k4 are weight coefficients with values of 0.35, 0.3, 0.1 and 0.25 respectively. Data Application: Conducting comprehensive performance tests and evaluations on flame-retardant rubber-plastic insulation boards not only helps understand the single properties of the material, but also comprehensively evaluates the product reliability of such insulation boards.
