Gopher Snake Genome Sequencing, Assembly, and Population Genomics. Pituophis catenifer

This study sequenced a single individual to use as a high quality reference genome. An additional 77 samples (12 samples (n=3) per the four populations at 40x and 65 samples (n=3-22) per the four populations at 8x) were chosen for use in population genomics analyses between island and mainland gopher snakes. These 77 samples were resequenced and mapped to the reference genome to produce consensus genomes.
