This is a composite dataset of folders of curated image files, selected from thousands of photographed still-images produced as research data for a wider project on marginality in the Indian academy.
The dataset also includes files such as:
a description of the project, contributors to this output and funders (file name: 1. Read me),
the codebook for the file names
the fieldwork protocol,
fieldnotes by the researchers per site
instructions for attributions per image.
The files of images are organised into folders. These have been zipped. Refer to the file '1. Read me' for what informed the curation and selection of the images.
