Philippines reef fish biomass

Reef fish biomass from 12 locations in the central Philippines. Some sites were surveyed twice, so there are 18 location-time combinations, each with four 50 x 5 metre belt transects, for a total of 72 transects. NOTE: column 'functional.group' corrected. Some large fish that are pisci-invertivores at smaller/younger sizes but primarily piscivores at larger sizes were reclassified as piscivores based on their size. Analysis_pipeline.py is a self-contained Python 3.12 pipeline that reproduces all statistics (Kruskal–Wallis, pairwise Mann–Whitney U, Random Forest regression with leave-one-site-out cross-validation and permutation importance) and regenerates Figures 2–5 at 1200 dpi from the accompanying reef fish biomass dataset.
