Dataset for atmospheric ice-nucleating particles in urban Taiyuan during winter 2023–2024

This dataset supports the manuscript on atmospheric ice-nucleating particles (INPs) in urban Taiyuan during winter 2023–2024. The dataset includes droplet-freezing results, temperature-resolved N_INP and confidence intervals, particle number size distributions, particle surface area data for n_s calculation, auxiliary observations including meteorology, PM2.5/PM10, MARGA ions, OC/EC and XRF elemental concentrations, PMF source contribution data, and HYSPLIT backward trajectory outputs. These data were used to investigate the temporal variability, source influences, and activity of atmospheric INPs in an industrial urban atmosphere.
