This report integrates spatial transcriptomics, pseudotime analysis, and functional enrichment, to deliver a high resolution and comprehensive portrait of the transcriptional dynamics underlying human meibocyte differentiation. The data support continuous meibocyte development by consecutive modulation of cellular functions that can be associated with specific gene sets and display striking differences compared to sebocyte differentiation.
