In this study, genes that might be involved in resistance to pine wilt disease were sequenced by Sanger sequencing and SNPs were identified. An association analysis was performed between the detected SNPs and the phenotype after inoculation with pinewood nematode. For this study, samples of the Pinus pinaster half-sib family 440 were used. Inoculations were made with pinewood nematode isolate Bx013.003 in September 2019 (Oeiras, Portugal).
