Metagenomics sequencing of infectious microbes from ocular sarcoidosis tissue specimens

This project focuses on the sequencing of 20 ocular and periocular tissue biopsies, containing 16 patients with evidence of sarcoidosis and non-caseating granulomas and 4 controls. All 20 samples underwent metagenomic sequencing to identify possible infectious microbes with a hypothesis about the etiopathogenesis of sarcoidosis.
