资源简介:
Bistatic scattering analysis of vegetation is an important element in developing remote sensing applications for microwave measurements. Previously, we applied the hybrid method (HM) to full wave simulations of realistic vegetation geometries. However, HM was limited to solving a relatively small number of scatterers. To accelerate the solving of the Foldy-Lax multiple scattering equations, the fast hybrid method (FHM) was applied to solving a much larger number of corn plants in a vegetation field. The FHM procedure for scattering is described in this paper. A bistatic scattering analysis of 49 corn plants by FHM showed good agreement with FEKO. The CPU time and memory of the FHM required less than 190 seconds and 570 Mbytes, respectively, and the computation can be readily performed on a standard laptop.
