This series comprises summaries of Coal Production Statistics. The summaries are of the productive output at each mine in NSW and other states in Australia. There are summaries of the coal produced each year, how much was produced in each state as well as a summary for the amount of coal produced across the Commonwealth. The statistics compare the gross coal output versus the possible coal output of the mine. Details recorded include the number of days worked and lost and reasons for low coal output e.g. staff strikes. The statistics include summaries made at half yearly and quarterly intervals. The summaries are based on statistics recorded fortnightly per mine. The series is arranged chronologically.
