PEDAGOGICAL BASIS OF FORMING PATRIOTISM IN CHILDREN

This article provides a broad and in-depth analysis of the pedagogical foundations of forming patriotic feelings in preschool children from a scientific point of view. The article provides a detailed description of the content of the patriotic feeling, its components (imagination of the homeland, affection, pride, responsibility, pride, readiness to defend), the dynamics of development specific to the age period, and the most effective pedagogical conditions, based on the “First Step” state curriculum of the Republic of Uzbekistan, legislation on education, the Constitution, the principles of the national idea and ideology, local empirical research, and international psychological and pedagogical literature. The results show that when the formation of a sense of patriotism in preschool age is carried out through games, fairy tales, national holidays, family environment, personal example of the educator and activities based on emotional experience, children develop a stable positive image of the homeland, national pride and a sense of responsibility, which creates a solid foundation for civic consciousness in the future. The article offers practical guidance based on empirical evidence for educators, methodologists, parents and education system specialists.
