Population structure of Cichlidogyrus casuarinus

Cichlidogyrus, a monogenean flatworm lineage, has been proposed as a model system to study parasite-host relationships. The goal of the present project was to address lake-wide population structure and congruence between morphological and genetic differentiation of the populations of Cichlidogyrus casuarinus, a parasite with a broad host range infecting pelagic fishes native to Lake Tanganyika.
