DIVINE Pilot 4 - On Farm - Davis Instruments Weather Station and IoT sensors Datasets - (June 23 - May 24)

This dataset provides high-resolution hourly agroclimatic and environmental monitoring data from Pilot 4 of the DIVINE project (DemonstratIng Value of agrI Data ShariNg for Boosting Data Economy in Agriculture), a Horizon Europe funded initiative. The data was collected using professional-grade monitoring equipment deployed at an experimental farm in Diezma (Granada), Spain. Objective: The primary goal of this pilot is to integrate traditional weather station data with decentralized IoT sensor nodes. This integration provides a holistic view of the farm's microclimate and soil conditions, supporting precision irrigation, frost monitoring, and crop health modeling. Furthermore, this dataset serves as a key contribution to the Agri Data Space developed within the DIVINE Project, aimed at enhancing data sharing and interoperability across the European agricultural sector. Equipment and Data Sources: The monitoring system consists of a central gateway and several peripheral IoT nodes: Central Gateway (Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 Plus): A professional-grade, 24-hour fan-aspirated wireless station. The "Plus" model includes high-accuracy sensors for Solar Radiation and UV monitoring in addition to standard atmospheric parameters. IoT Nodes (Nodes 1 & 2): Wireless sensor nodes equipped with specialized probes for localized soil and canopy monitoring: Soil Moisture: Measuring soil water tension (cb). Soil Temperature: Measuring root zone temperature (°C). Leaf Wetness: Measuring moisture duration on foliage for disease modeling. Temporal Coverage: Period: June 2023 – May 2024. Resolution: 60-minute (hourly) intervals. Data Format: Format: CSV (UTF-8). Structure: Files include multi-row headers identifying the specific device (Gateway vs. Nodes) and the specific port/sensor type for each data column.
