Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey at Barnet Lane, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire 2022

This collection comprises geophysics data and georeferenced raster images from an archaeological geophysical survey covering c6ha of land to the south of the town of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
The survey was undertaken by MOLA Northampton over two days, the 19th and 20th December 2022, and comprised a detailed magnetometer survey. The purpose of the survey was to identify and map any archaeological remains that may be affected by the proposed development.
The survey detected fragmentary linear anomalies which may indicate sections of ditch, and two discrete anomalies which may relate to large pits of unknown use, but no substantial remains with a definitively archaeological origin. An area of geological variation, former streams and a field drain were also detected.
