Bathymetry Newfoundland and Labrador Region

This web map has been compiled by CPAWS-NL as part of a data collection initiative for the Newfoundland and Labrador province in an effort to locate, compile and make available data that could be useful to socio, economic and environmental stakeholders of Newfoundland and Labrador. Bathymetry is a key environmental component that can be useful under a variety of applications. Additionally, the expansive, sparsely populated, and treacherous coastal terrain makes bathymetric data difficult and expensive to collect. Despite difficulties, bathymetric data has been collected for many areas of Newfoundland and Labrador for broad and for small-scale projects.
