The anatomy and surgical technique are well presented, but differential diagnoses and pathology are covered lessthoroughly. The coverage is variable, both in depth and in accuracy. Prior familiarity with the subject is necessary to bridge the gaps in information on indications and medical approaches to the management of thyroid mass. Illustrations are generally well correlated; however, the surgical procedure could have been more effectively edited to eliminate redundancies. This program is recommended for use.
