资源简介:
In this study, we investigated preferred habitat choice in relation to two abiotic factors, i.e., substrate and illumination (dark vs. light), in two pit-building antlions, E. nostras, and M. formicarius. We observed the habitat choice of individuals and choice of individuals in interactions to determine if choice changes during con- or heterospecific interactions. The dataset contains all raw results of the corresponding experiments that were analyzed
Each file has a name that refers to a specific experiment
Abbreviations used to understand the results: en: Euroleon nostras; mf: Myrmeleon formicarius; gran: granulation (1-fine, 4-coarse); D: dark; L:light; MF1 or EN1: the first individual in the pair; MF2 or EN2: the second individual in the pair.
