资源简介:
The spin Seebeck effect (SSE) is an exciting phenomenon for next generation energy harvesting, which is often observed by measuring the voltage generated in a thin Pt layer on the magnetic layer. It is critical to probe the impact of structural and magnetic morphology of SSE materials for technological realisation. We have reported on the temperature dependence of the SSE and the magnetisation in La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 (LCMO) and the SSE voltage show significantly different variations indicating that in addition to the bulk, there might be an interfacial contribution to the SSE. Since identifying the role of the interface in the SSE is important to improve the efficiency of spintronic and SSE based devices, we propose using PNR to determine whether there is a subtle change in the interfacial magnetisation that enhances/impedes the SSE.
