The goals of this work were to investigate whether changes in the microbiota occur following BCG-vaccination against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Specifically we determined whether changes in the microbiota occur differently based on the age of the mice and the route of vaccination. We performed 16S rRNA gene sequencing analyses to perform basic diversity analyses and differential abundance analyses.
