Soil samples has been collected at Trois-Sauts, an isolated settlement in Amazonian National Park. In order to assess anthropogenic impact on microbial communities, a 3km transect has been sampled every 600m in order to generate anthropization gradient, from the village to the forest. Each soil samples DNA has been extracted with MoBio Power Soil Max extraction kit and directly sequenced without any prior amplification with Roche 454 Titanium chemistery.
