Brain/MINDS Mouse Average Brain Template with Skull

This dataset provides a population average ex vivo mouse brain MRI template that includes the skull, along with a corresponding brain mask for automated skull stripping and atlas registration workflows. The template was constructed from 149 ex vivo T2-weighted MRI scans of mouse brains acquired using an 11.7T MRI system. Individual MRI volumes were aligned using deformable image registration to generate a population average template that preserves the anatomical geometry of the mouse head, including the skull.This template shares the same anatomical space as the Turone Mouse Brain Template and Atlas (TMBTA), allowing direct compatibility with the TMBTA atlas for region-based analysis.
