Adherent cell layers of Dexter-type long-term bone marrow cultures were transduced using a barcoded lentiviral library and implanted under the renal capsules of syngeneic recipients for the formation of hematopoietic ectopic foci. Some initial foci were retransplanted for the formation of the secondary foci. Barcodes were identified on Illumina platform.
