资源简介:
Predicting the response of IBD patients to FMT therapy is of great significance for accurate decision-making of treatment options. Our results showed that the response rate of FMT was 80% (12/15) for UC and 60% (9/15) for CD. A series of UC and CD response-specific gut microbes and circulating metabolites were identified that are promising for FMT response prediction. FMT therapy alters the host-microbiota interaction network, which is expected to be a new target for IBD intervention. For patients who do not respond to FMT treatment, remission can be induced by IFX-FMT combination therapy, which shares the omics characteristics of each constituent intervention. This to some extent corroborates the predicting application of FMT by microbiota, metabolites, and symptomatic indicators to treatment response.
