<b>Marble Burying test.</b> Male mice 3 months old were used for this experiment. 12 glass marbles were evenly distributed on a fresh 5 cm-deep wood chip bedding in a rectangular plastic arena similar in size to the mouse home cage (39x20x16 cm). The mice were given 15 min to explore the marbles, and the number of buried marbles was counted. A marble was considered buried if at least 2/3 of its surface was covered with bedding chips (Njung’e and Handley, 1991).
