Modelling result files for quantifiying the impact of hydropower representation in large-scale, highly aggregated energy system models
收藏资源简介:
This repository includes summary files for the modelling results obtained with the North European Backbone Model (v3.12), intending to quantify the impacts of hydropower representation in large-scale, highly aggregated energy system models. The model covers a wide range of European bidding zones. The files list results for the setups "Observed Trends 2025 = OT2025" and "Observed Trends 2030 = OT2030". 3 scenarios have been modelled: Scenario A as benchmark and Scenarios B1 & B2 with hydropower constraints based on their historically observed operational envelope. The modelling setup and the obtained results are explained and analysed in detail in "Lost Flexibility: Hydropower Capabilities in Large-Scale, Pan-European Energy System Models" by J. Kiehle, T.J. Lindroos, J.-N. Louis and E. Pongrácz. A preprint of the manuscript is available via SSRN. Each summary file includes a "ReadMe"-sheet, explaining what is displayed in the file.
