Genetic linkage map (isolates IPO323 x IPO94269). Zymoseptoria tritici strain:IPO323 X IPO94269

Plant Research International and USDA - Agricultural Research Service generated a Mycosphaerella graminicola genetic linkage map by crossing the two field isolates IPO323 and IPO94269. The resulting map contained 223 AFLP and 57 RAPD markers, as well as the biological traits mating type and avirulence, in 23 linkage groups spanning 1,216 cM. The genetic linkage map was later refined to integrate 23 microsatellite markers. In the updated linkage map, two of the smaller linkage groups were joined to larger groups, and three new linkage groups were identified, resulting in 24 total linkage groups.
