Battered Women - Reproductive Consequenses, 1988

The purpose of the project was to establish occurrence of violence against women and examine reproductive consequences; how gynecological disorders and adverse pregnancy outcomes are related to violence. The data collection was carried out as a personal interview where questions were raised about conditions, care work, education, housing, economics, religion, physical and mental illness history, physician contact, medical certificates, discounted functions, pregnancy / childbirth, contraception use, gynecological diseases, severe life events and sexual experiences. Various questionnaires were also used to map health: a questionnaire concerning ailments the past two weeks, the General Health Questionnaire, General Well Being Schedule, network map, a questionnaire concerning conflict mapping and a questionnaire concerning ailments for people who have been subjected to great stress.
