MML COMSOL Optimization File and Code: An Optimized 3D-Printed Meta-Matching Layer To Enhance Transmission Through Calcified Plaques

This repository contains a COMSOL Multiphysics model (.mph) and MATLAB LiveLink script for parametric optimization of a 3D-printed Meta-Matching Layer (MML). The code performs a systematic sweep of ridge height and width (expressed as multiples of wavelength), computes acoustic transmission and reflection coefficients across a defined frequency range, and extracts performance metrics at the target frequency (4 MHz). The materials enable users to reproduce and extend the numerical optimization of the MML geometry for enhanced ultrasound transmission.
