Rice seeds and seedlings microbiome analysis through 16S and ITS amplicon sequencing

The goal of this study is to identify and characterize bacteria and fungi associated with rice seeds and seedlings through 16S and ITS rRNA amplicon sequencing. This study will also reveal the driving factors for rice microbiome during germination and describe the distribution pattern of microbiome across different tissue compartments. Furthermore, this study helps to point out the core microbiome with the potential to be developed as bio-fertilizer and biocontrol agent for Agriculture.
