This project is linked to a manuscript submited to International Journal of Geographical Information Science: A statistical framework for measuring local bivariate spatial association using semantic indicators and an exact parametric method.This file contains data and codes. The code consists primarily of two components. The first and main component is the '<b><i>Data_to_result.ipynb</i></b>' file. This file provides a detailed summary of the entire work-flow for analyzing Philadelphia crime data as described in the manuscript, describing the process from the read the origin data, to calculate local indicator, to output plotting, and to construct tables. By executing this file step by step, one can gain an in-depth understanding of each stage of the work-flow.And the other part is <b><i>ESLocalIndi</i></b> open source package ( stored in the directory '<b>ESLocalIndi</b>'). The <b><i>ESLocalIndi </i></b>package is developed for assessing spatial associations at local levels, is specifically designed to streamline the process of identifying spatial relationships (colocation, isolation, and random) between two types of geographic objects.
