Lysosome-coupled mRNA transport maintains mitochondrial and ribosomal homeostasis in the axon

To understand the function of BORCS5 in mRNA tranport, RNA-seq analysis was performed on axons and neurons from WT and BORCS5-KO human i3Neurons. Overall design: RNA-seq analysis was performed on the neuron and axonal compartments of human i3Neuron grown on microfluidic device in each genotype. The number of biological replicates were 2 WT axons, 2 WT neurons, 3 BORCS5-KO axons, and 3 BORCS5-KO neurons.
