Adjoint Sensitivity of Methane Loss Rate to Precursor Emissions and Reaction Rates

The adjoint model of GEOS-Chem was used to calculate elements of the linearized model Jacobian (termed the \"sensitivity\") the global mean methane loss rate to a number of model parameters, including precursor emissions of NOx and CO and the ozone photolysis rate. Results are at the model resolution (2 x 2.5 degrees lat x lon) for months January/April/July/October (for emissions) or January/July (for rates) of 2006.
