16S rRNA Sequencing of Ileal Chyme from Pigs Fed Diets with Differential Glucose Release Kinetics

This project aims to investigate the impact of different glucose release kinetics on the ileal chyme microbiota of pigs. By conducting 16S rRNA sequencing of ileal chyme samples collected from pigs fed diets designed to release glucose at different rates, we seek to understand how these dynamics influence the synchronization of carbon and nitrogen supply. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights into the role of gut microbiota in nutrient utilization and growth efficiency in swine, with potential implications for feed formulation and animal production strategies.
